Diwali date in 2025

Diwali date 2025: Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolises hope, prosperity, and the triumph of good over evil. In 2025, the Diwali festival will be observed on Monday, October 20.

5 Days of Diwali: 2025 Dates

  • Dhanteras: Saturday, 18 October 2025
  • Naraka Chaturdashi (Choti Diwali): Sunday, 19 October 2025
  • Lakshmi Puja (Main Diwali Day): Monday, 20 October 20
  • Govardhan Puja (Annakut): Tuesday, 21 October 2025
  • Bhai Dooj: Wednesday, 22 October 2025 

Dates for Dussehra, Karwa Chauth, and Durga Ashtami 

Karwa Chauth will be observed on October 10, Durga Ashtami on September 30, and Dussehra 2025 on October 2. 

Holi date

This year, Holika Dahan will be observed on March 13, while the festival of colours, Holi, will be celebrated on March 14.
