Happy New Year 2025 LIVE: The first Union Cabinet meeting of 2025 took place on January 1 where Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini welcomed the decisions taken for farmers. Nayab Singh Saini called the Union Cabinet's announcements as a "New Year gift" for farmers from PM Modi. India can enhance its economic potential and become a keystone in the global supply chain system by seizing the opportunity from the shift in global alliances, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said and asserted that "India is well positioned to more than fend for itself".
