ChatGPT is experiencing significant outages, preventing millions of users worldwide from accessing the chatbot.

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, took to social media to address the issue. It wrote, “We're experiencing an outage right now. We have identified the issue and are working to roll out a fix. Sorry and we'll keep you updated!”

Social media is filled with reactions as ChatGPT is facing outage.

One user said, “I pay $20 a month just for it to not work when I have an assignment due tonight, thanks.”

“how long will chatgpt be down for?,” some other user asked.

Another user added, “You’re making me want to use Grok more. As long as I’ve been using it, it’s never had any outage.”

Some other added, "if i keep refreshing the page will that speed things up?”

A user commented expressing his frustation, “Thank you , because I could not get my sentence corrected lol.”

“Hurry because I am dying right now. How did I live without this before,” a user wrote.

Another added, “I can no longer work or do school or cook or do my laundry or make conversation with anyone”

Last month, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had apologized on X after ChatGPT went down for 30 minutes. As per outage tracking website Downdetector, over 19,000 people were impacted due to the unavailability of chatbot. In a post on X admitting the outage, Altman had said the company was much better at reliability than it used to be but there is still a lot more work to do.

Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook face global outage

Meta's flagship platforms—Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook faced widespread outages. Earlier users reported problems ranging from failed messages to complete inaccessibility of the apps. Meta acknowledged the issues and addressed them on its official X account, “We’re aware that a technical issue is impacting some users' ability to access our apps. We’re working to resolve it as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.”
