Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh confirm birth of baby boy, fans shower love on ‘Junior Hitman’

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh have been blessed with a baby boy, their second chil. The couple are already parents to a 6-year-old daughter, Samaira, and had kept news of their pregnancy under wraps until the very last moment.

Confirming the birth of second child on Instagram, Rohit posted a picture with the caption15.11.2024. Meanwhile, the image itself carried the text, FAMILY, akin to the popular American TV series Friednds with the text “the one where we are four”.

Notably, Rohit's availability for the first Test match in Perth was in doubt, but reports suggest that with the earlier-than-anticipated birth of his baby boy, the Indian captain could soon be on his way to Australia.

In Rohit's absence, Team India would have to open with someone like KL Rahul or Abhimanyu Easwaran, both of whom have failed to impress in the opportunities they have had during India A matches.
