He registered victory in three swing states: North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

Trump will be only the second president to serve non-consecutive terms after Grover Cleveland, a feat last accomplished 132 years ago. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the US, serving from 1885 to 1889 and 1893 to 1897.

He said, “It’s time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us,” Trump said. “It’s time to unite.” As he urged the masses to fix the situation, he said, “We have to put our country first for at least a period of time."
