President Donald Trump’s Justice Department on Thursday released Jeffrey Epstein's address book, featuring a range of celebrities and politicians. However, the Justice Department clarified that the list is a contact list, ‘not a client list’.

The list includes Michael Jackson, actor Alec Baldwin, Mick Jagger, Naomi Campbell, Courtney Love and Robert F Kennedy Jr's mother, Ethel Kennedy. Though the names were revealed in the files, the Justice Department withheld their addresses and contact information, a New York Post article revealed.

Other high-profile celebrities and political figures on the contact list include Bob Weinstein, the brother of Harvey Weinstein; David Koch; late Sen Ted Kennedy; actor Ralph Fiennes; Kerry Kennedy; lawyer Alan Dershowitz; John Kerry; actor Dustin Hoffman; businessman Jon Huntsman; Ivana Trump, Ivanka Trump; and model Liz Hurley. The president’s name was not on the contact list.

Lawsuits and document leaks related to the case over the years had already revealed most, if not all, of the names on the list. Epstein’s “little black book,” which contained 249 names of associates from the 1990s, was previously made public in two copies. One of those copies even went up for auction.

What do Jeffrey Epstein's files reveal?

Despite teasing Fox News about a big revelation, the first wave of Jeffrey Epstein files posted on the Justice Department website have largely been circulating in the public domain for years.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, in her Fox News appearance Wednesday, said, “Breaking news right now, you’re going to see some Epstein information released.” The Justice Department said it was making the documents public to show its commitment to transparency. The papers, however, do not include any new bombshells about the sex trafficking case that has been a favourite subject of conspiracy theorists.

The small batch of documents included copies of flight logs from disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein’s private plane, which have long been available in multiple court cases, and a heavily redacted photocopy of an address book purportedly compiled by Epstein and his longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, which has been cited in media accounts for many years.

The Justice Department also released a blacked-out list of masseuses and an evidence list showing entries for more than 150 items, including nude images, massage tables, sex toys and other items. There wasn't any indication of whether the list was from Epstein's case, Maxwell's case or some other investigation.
