The report also highlighted that this is the second UPI outage in the last 10 days where users have experienced disruption related to digital payments and online transactions through the interface.

For the earlier outage, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) said that the online transaction system was down due to the fluctuations in the success rates in some banks, which increased the latency in the UPI network.
