Molestation at Holi party: TV actress accuses co-star of inappropriate behaviour, threatens, ‘Let’s see who saves you’

A television actress has accused her co-star of allegedly molesting her at a Holi party in Mumbai, according to a report by NDTV citing police sources.

In her complaint, the 29-year-old actress, who works for an entertainment channel, stated that her colleague, who was drunk, forcibly applied colours to her.

The incident reportedly occurred at a rooftop party hosted by her company, which numerous people attended. The actress mentioned that she tried to hide behind a stall, but her co-star followed her and applied colours to her.

According to media reports, the actress, who has appeared in several TV serials and is currently affiliated with an entertainment channel, described the ordeal to the police.

As reported by NDTV, in her statement, she said she covered her face, but he forcefully caught her and put colour on her cheeks. He said, 'I love you' and 'let's see who saves you from me,' police sources told NDTV.

She further stated that he touched her inappropriately, and she pushed him away, feeling "mentally shocked." The actress later confided in her friends about the incident, and when they confronted him, he allegedly pushed them as well.

The police have filed a case under Section 75(1)(i) of the BNS and have issued a notice to the accused, summoning him for questioning. An ongoing investigation is being conducted.
