Disturbing details reveal why Muskan, Sahil beheaded Saurabh and severed his hands

More disturbing details have emerged in the Meerut murder case in which former Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput was drugged and stabbed to death by his wife, Muskan Rastogi and her lover, Sahil Shukla. The investigation into the Meerut murder case has revealed that Muskan and Sahil cut off Saurabh's head and wrists so that he could not be identified later.

According to a report, Muskan and Sahil had first bought a suitcase to fit Saurabh into after his murder. But they could not fit him into the suitcase. The investigators have found blood stains on the suitcase in Muskan's rented apartment.

To carry out the murder to the precision, Muskan and Sahil rehearsed multiple times with the two knives and cut-throat razor they bought.

Sahil and Muskan were arrested for drugging, stabbing and then chopping his body into 15 pieces while he was in Meerut for his daughter's birthday.

Muskan slit his throat with a razor, the same weapon Sahil later used to behead him. They then placed his dismembered body in a plastic drum, sealing it with wet cement. The two then went to mountains where they spent over a week.

Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla have been lodged in Chaudhary Charan Singh district jail since March 19 after a court sent the duo to judicial custody for 14 days. The duo wanted to be lodged in same barrack but they were told that as per rules, it was not possible, the officials said.

Meanwhile, Muskan has also asked for a government lawyer. She has said that her family is upset with her and nobody would be willing to fight for her case.
