Indians Deportation from US LIVE: EAM Jaishankar responds said, “Authorities have been given instructions to sit with every returnee and find out how they went to America, how they were taken.”

“They were misled by agents and they have gone through harrowing experience,” Jaishankar says.

“During toilet breaks, deportees are temporarily unrestrained if needed”, Jaishankar added.

The SOP of deportation by aircraft used by ICE which is effective from 2012 provides for the use of restraint. We have been informed by ICE that women and children are not restrained."
