"So far, about 2 crore people have taken a dip. By evening, more than 2.50 crore people will have taken a dip in Sangam," Abhijat told ANI.

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: Spiritual orator Jaya Kishori attended Mahakumbh 2025 on Tuesday and hailed the devotees who are coming in a large numbers for the event despite cold weather. 

“Such a large number of people who have come here despite such cold weather is amazing. My experience has been very good... Seeing such a large number of devotees in one place creates a unique energy, which is not there on normal days... Anyone who comes here will find everything here- peace, knowledge, spirituality, and culture. Prayagraj is currently seeing an amalgamation of all these,” Jaya Kishori told ANI.

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: Key dates of Mahakumbh include: January 29 (Mauni Amavasya - Second Shahi Snan), February 3 (Basant Panchami - Third Shahi Snan), February 12 (Maghi Purnima), and February 26 (Maha Shivaratri).

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: A foreign devotee on Tuesday shared with ANI that she is attending the Kumbh Mela for the third time after attending one in Haridwar in 2010 and second in Prayagraj in 2013.

“This is my third Kumbh. I went to Haridwar in 2010, Prayagraj in 2013 and now here again. All the craziness here but beneath that is just something which doesn't change...Fortunately, there is a lot of Police personnel here doing crowd control...Here, you just learn to go with the flow,” ANI quoted the devotee as saying.

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: Yogmata Keiko Aikawa on Tuesday took holy dip in Sangam on Tuesday. In an interaction with ANI reporter, she said, “I feel very excited. I bless everyone.”

Today between 10:30 and 11 am, a helicopter will fly from Prayagraj Airport and a flower shower will be done on all the Akharas, the officials added.

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: Swami Avdheshanand of Juna Akhara said that lakhs of devotees come to Mahakumbh to perform ‘Anushthan’ and take part in snan during ocassion.

 "Water is synonymous with our Sanatan culture. Water has life-giving properties. The existence of our gods is from water- Narayana, Brahma, among others... The Hindu month of 'Magha' starts today, Paush Purnima. Many devotees have come here for 'anushthan' in addition to 'snan'. Many have come here to look for the meaning and essence of human life...," he said.

Mahakumbh 2025 Live: A thin layer of fog was seen in Prayagraj on Tuesday. The temperature was  recorded at 13.4 degree Celsius at 8.30 am this morning. Despite low temperature, lakhs of devotees arrived at Sangam for Amrit Snan.

“This Maha Kumbh is being held after 144 years, and we are fortunate to witness it. It is historic and grand. A sea of people is here. I would say that those who were trying to attack the Sanatan Dharma, the devotees of Prayagraj are giving a befitting reply to them. We can see youth in large numbers here, this shows the deep roots of faith,” Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti told ANI.
