Stock Market Today: NCC share price gained 6% in the morning trade on Wednesday after the company announced having received a ₹10,805 crore order from BSNL.
NCC share price opened at ₹215.20 on the BSE on Wednesday, more than 5% higher than the previous day's closing price of ₹204.45. NCC stock thereafter continued to gain and touched an intraday high of ₹217.55, translating into gains of more than 6%.
NCC on Tuesday, post-market hours, announced receipt of a major order. As per the release by NCC, it has received two advance work orders dated March 25, 2025, from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of middle mile network of BharatNet, in Uttarakhand Telecom Circle and Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles.
Broad consideration or size of the order or the contract in Uttarakhand from BSNL stands at ₹2647.12 crore. This comprises capex of ₹1,543.35 crore and operating expenses of ₹1103.77 crore.
Meanwhile, the BSNL order for Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles, is valued at ₹8,157.44 crore. This comprises capex of ₹4,189.05 crore and operating expenses or Opex of ₹3,968.39 crore.
NCC has been buzzing recently amid order flow news. NCC had received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) dated March 21, 2025, from Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation for the redevelopment of Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital at Laheria Sarai, Darbhanga. The total price for the contract has been pegged at ₹1,480.34 crore (excluding GST).
NCC Ltd also received a LoA on March 19 from Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for the construction of roads, drains, water supply, sewage, utility ducts for power and ICT, reuse waterline and avenue plantation, etc at Zone-12 villages area in Amaravati Capital City, Andhra Pradesh. The total price for the contract is ₹2129.60 crore (excluding GST).
