ICICI Lombard Q4 Results: ICICI Lombard on Tuesday reported a two per cent decline in net profit to 510 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. The insurer had reported a post-tax net profit of 520 crore in the year-ago period.

However, the total income of the company rose to 5,851 crore in the quarter under review compared to 5,165 crore in the year-ago period. The gross direct premium income of the company improved to 6,211 crore against 6,073 crore in the same quarter a year ago, registering a growth of 2.3 per cent.

 

ICICI Lombard Q4 Results: Key Metrics

The board recommended a final dividend of 7 per equity share or 70 per cent of face value of 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, said ICICI Lombard in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges. The solvency ratio was 2.69 times at March-end 2025 against 2.62 times on March 31, 2024, higher than the minimum regulatory requirement of 1.5 times.

Shares of ICICI Lombard settled 5.99 per cent higher at 1,821.35, before rising over four per cent to hit an intra day high of 1831.10 apiece on the BSE. ICICI Lombard commands a market capitalisation of 90,289.14 crore.

 

ICICI Prudential Q4 Results

ICICI Prudential said in a regulatory filing that the insurer's net premium income rose 10.6 per cent to 16,369 crore in the March quarter, compared to 14,788 crore in the year-ago period. Expenses fell to 15,314 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25 from 22,352 crore in the year-ago period. 

The reduction in total expenses is due to a change in actuarial liability, which includes movement in funds for future appropriation. It has come down to 80 crore against 7,045 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

For the full 2024-25 fiscal year, ICICI Prudential Life's net profit rose by 40 per cent to 1,189 crore from 852 crore earned in the previous financial year. The insurer also announced a dividend of 0.85 per share for FY25 with a face value of 10 each, compared to 0.6 per share a year ago.

The risk management framework enabled it to have a record of zero non-performing assets since its inception. As of March 31, 2025, the solvency ratio was 212.2 per cent, against the requirement of 150 per cent. Shares of ICICI Prudential settled 2.62 per cent higher at 567.60 apiece on the BSE.
