Vidaamuyarchi OTT release date: Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan's Tamil action thriller movie Vidaamuyarchi is set to make its OTT debut. The Ajith-starrer film which released in theatres on February 6 emerged as the "Biggest Tamil Opener of 2025" thanks to its strong debut at the box office. With mixed reviews from the audience, the film could not keep up its strong numbers.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the movie will make its digital debut on OTT platform Netflix on March 3 in all languages - Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam. Taking to their social media handle, Netflix captaioned, “No breaks. No limits. Just Vidaamuyarchi.”

The movie is directed by Magizh Thirumeni, and managed to spark immense buzz among Ajith Kumar's fans. It is an adaptation of the 1997 American film 'Breakdown', is an intense action-packed thriller that follows the story of Arjun (played by Ajith Kumar), a man who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue his wife, Kayal (Trisha Krishnan), who has been captured by a notorious group in Azerbaijan.

Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions, the film features an ensemble cast, including the powerful Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian.

The Tamil superstar's movie made a strong debut at the box office by earning ₹31.75 crore on Day 1. However, the film saw a steep decline on Day 2 as it earned just ₹12.15 crore followed by ₹15.8 crore on Day 3. By Week 1, the film earned a gross ₹86.65 crore. The Week 2 saw another decline in daily numbers and by the end on the second week, the film's collection stood at ₹8.45 crore, according to Sacnilk.com. Accomrding to the report, the film's gross collection in India stood at ₹95.1 crore.
