'What's your problem?' Salman Khan asks social media trolls, addresses age-gap with Rashmika in Sikandar | Watch

Salman Khan addressed his 31-year age difference with Sikandar heroine Rashmika Mandanna. Both stars were present at the trailer launch event of his upcoming movie.

The Bollywood superstar will romance Rashmika, who earlier gave blockbusters like Animal and Pushpa 2, in his next movie Sikandar. The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, known to Bollywood fans for making Ghajini with Aamir Khan.

The movie will hit theatres on March 30, on the occasion of Eid 2025.

After the lead pair was announced, social media trolls started speaking about the huge 31-year age difference between Salman and Rashmika.

Salman Khan spoke about people talking about his “ageing” appearance.

“Beech me kabhi kabhi waise gadbad ho jata hai ke 6-7 raat soye nahi. Phir wo social media wale peechhe pad jaate hain. Unko dikhana padta hai ke, bhai, abhi tak hai) (At times, things go wrong when I don't sleep properly for 6-7 days. Then, these social media people go after me. Then, I have to show those people that I still have it in me.).”

Salman Khan said, "Phir bolte hah 31 years ka age difference hah hero-heroine me. Arree jab heroine ko koi problem nhi hah. Heroine ke father ko koi problem nhi hah, tumko kyu problem hah bhai (They say that hero-heroine have age difference of 31 years. When the heroine has no problem, the heroine's father has now, then what's your problem, brother?)."

Salman asserted the fact that people do work in certain situations after gaining fame.

"When she gets married, has kids and when they become huge stars, they will also do work right. They will get mother's permission right?)".

Sikandar trailer released

Meanwhile, the makers released the much-awaited trailer on March 23. The trailer shows Salman Khan in action mode and is a complete package of romance, stunts, dialogue, and dance numbers.

The three-minute long trailer portrays Salman in his iconic, larger-than-life character. He is introduced as 'Rajkot ka Raja', and Rashmika's character is seen saying that he often beats someone and returns home. She also says that he has been called by several names like Sikandar, Raja Sahab or Sanjay Sahab.

Salman's portrayal of Sikandar is as raw as it is powerful. Assigned to a specific case, he landed in Mumbai where he is seen fighting the goons. While Salman shines in action mode, Rashmika adds charm in romantic sequences.
