Who is Gertrude Hoelzer?

Gertrude Hoelzer was born in Germany's capital city Berlin in 1929. Notably, Alia's great-grandfather Karl Hoelzer was a vocal anti-Nazi activist. He ran an underground newspaper against Adolf Hitler and was subsequently imprisoned in a concentration camp but survived. He escaped Nazi wrath by leaving Germany in 1937 and sought refuge in England.
