Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 26: After its record-breaking entry to the glorious ₹700 crore club worldwide, Vicky Kaushal's historical drama has witnessed a steadily falling trend in its earnings.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava's earnings, which had already declined by 37.04% on Sunday, and 44.12 per cent on Monday, were pushed further down by 15.79 per cent on Tuesday.
Despite the concerning trend on Day 26, Chhaava, which has had a smooth run at the box office with no real competition, is likely to regain its footing in the upcoming days, thanks to the Holi festive advantage.
According to Sacnilk, on its fourth Tuesday, Day 26, Chhaava earned merely ₹5.15 crore, down from Monday's ₹6 crore. This, however, includes the movie's earnings from its Tamil version, released on March 7.
With this, the movie has earned a total of ₹530.95 crore during its 26-day theatre run.
At the Indian box office, the Maddock Films production became the first film of 2025 and the eighth of all time to do so. Chhaava is the fourth-fastest movie ever to reach the milestone in Hindi, after Stree 2 (22 days), Jawan (18 days), and Pushpa 2 (11 days).
According to Sacnilk, Chhaava, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, earned ₹85.15 crore overseas, while its gross collection in India stood at ₹627.35 crore.
By Tuesday, the end of Day 26 of its release, Chhaava had earned a total of ₹712.5 crore worldwide.
A Laxman Utekar directorial, Chhaava is a historical drama based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his fierce battle against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
In the film, Vicky Kaushal portrays the Maratha ruler, Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Yesubai, Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, and Akshaye Khanna, who plays the Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb.
Chhaava recently gained significant attention after being mentioned in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech. He remarked, “Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai,” highlighting how the film is currently making headlines across the country.
