Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: On preparations for counting of votes, DM South Mekala Chaitanya Prasad said, as ANI quoted, "We are fully prepared for counting of votes for five assembly constituencies in South district. The counting of votes will start with postal ballots at 8 am. EVMs will be opened at 8.30 am. CCTVs are installed at the counting centre. Media will be allowed inside the counting centre along with authorised personnel."

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Claiming that the election commission has refused to upload form 17C, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to X and wrote, "EC has refused to upload form 17C and number of votes polled per booth in each assembly despite several requests. Aam Aadmi Party has made a website - http://transparentelections.in where we have uploaded all the form 17C of every assembly. This form has all the details of votes polled in each booth."

"Through the day, we will present the data of every assembly and every booth in a tabulated format as well so that every voter can access this information. This is something that the election commission should have done in the interest of transparency but it is unfortunate that they are refusing to do it," he concluded.

Rejecting exit poll projections, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Thursday said that he would wait for the voters' verdict.

"I don't believe in exit polls, let's wait for the voters' verdict," PTI qouted D K Shivakumar as saying. The Election Commission will announce the official Delhi Election results on February 8.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Thursday dismissed exit poll predictions and labelled them as "surveys by massage and spa companies".

Taking a dig at exit polls projections, the Rajya Sabha MP said, "What can you expect from the exit poll surveys conducted by massage and spa companies? Wait for February 8 and the AAP will form the government with a decisive majority," reported PTI.

He added, “The results will reflect the impact of our promises, including ₹2,100 for women and the Sanjeevani Yojana for the elderly. Exit polls in the past have been proven wrong.”

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Aam Aadmi Party is set to hold a meeting of all 70 candidates today, a day before announcement of the Delhi Assembly Election results, ANI reported.

The meeting will take place at 11:30 am in connection with horse-trading allegations of MLAs and to prepare the party for the results.

Demanding apology, Virendra Sachdeva in a statement said that Singh should either retract his allegations and tender an apology or face legal action.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused the BJP of attempting to poach AAP candidates. Ahead of the Delhi Assembly poll results on February 8, he alleged that seven of his party candidates were offered to switch sides.

the Rajya Sabha MP alleged at a press conference BJP leaders made phone calls to seven AAP MLAs and offered them ₹15 crore each to join the saffron party.

"Some were even offered (money) at face-to-face meetings," Sanjay Singh said, adding “This clearly shows that the BJP has accepted its defeat before the results and that is why it is trying something like this.”

Dismissing Arvind Kejriwal's allegations, BJP MP Jagdambika Pal said, "The way Arvind Kejriwal is making statements, claiming that their candidates are being called. Who will call his candidates as the results are yet to be announced. He is claiming that money is being offered. It is his hopelessness."

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in a post on social media X accused the BJP of attempting to poach AAP candidates to join the party. 

Kejriwal said, “Some agencies are showing that the 'Gali Galoch party' (Referring to the BJP) is getting more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls that if they leave AAP and join their party, they will make them ministers and will give Rs. 15 crores to each of them.”

He added, “If his party is getting more than 55 seats then what is the need for him to call our candidates? Obviously these fake surveys have been conducted with the sole purpose of creating this atmosphere to break down some candidates. But you abusive people, not even one of our men will break down.”

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Chanakya predicted that the BJP will win 49 per cent vote share with 45-57 seats (51 with an error margin of six), while AAP may get 13-25 seats with 41 per cent vote share. Others are predicted to get 0-3 seats.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Exuding confidence in Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) performance, BJP MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat said that the city's residents, who had given Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) two terms to deliver on their promises, now feel disheartened due to the lack of progress over the past decade.

Kamaljeet Sehrawat said, “People of Delhi never make a mistake in analysing performance. They trusted the promises of AAP earlier and gave them the opportunity to form government twice. But the plight of the entire city in 10 years could be seen on the faces and in the words of people when we met them. People felt disheartened.”

She added, "So, I think the results are going to be even better than the Exit Polls...Had AAP done something in 10 years, their performance would have been checked. They did nothing, so they would get the results. CM will be from BJP," ANI reported.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Taking a dig at exit polls that have given an edge to the BJP in the Delhi Assembly polls, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday dismissed the projections, calling them “surveys by massage and spa companies”.

Exit poll results, which started coming in soon after polling concluded at 6 pm on Wednesday, have largely predicted a BJP victory over the ruling AAP, while the Congress is expected to suffer yet another setback.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Pradeep Gupta’s Axis My India projected a BJP return to power in Delhi, with the party expected to secure 48% of the vote, as compared to 42%for AAP, and 7% for Congress. 

The data showed that a major portion of voters aged 18-25 are likely to support the BJP, while a whopping 47% of voters in the 26-35 age group are likely to back the AAP in the Delhi Elections. 

Today’s Chanakya also predicted a BJP sweep with approximately 50 seats and around 19 seats for AAP.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Three exit polls on Thursday predicted a sweep for the BJP in the Delhi assembly elections with vote share in the range of 48-49 per cent and 45-61 seats in the 70-member House.

Axis My India, which got its numbers right in the 2020 Delhi elections, has given a 48 per cent vote share for the BJP-led alliance as against 42 per cent for the ruling AAP.

In terms of seats, the Axis My India has projected the BJP winning 45-55 seats, the AAP 15-25 seats and the Congress 0-1. It also shows others winning 0-1 seats.

Today’s Chanakya has projected the BJP winning a 49 per cent vote share with 45-57 seats (51 with an error margin of six), while AAP may get 13-25 seats with 41 per cent vote share. Others are projected to get 0-3 seats.

CNX has predicted a landslide for the BJP with 49-61 seats and 49.05 per cent vote share, while it said the AAP could get 10-19 seats with 41.52 per cent vote share. The Congress could open its account in the assembly after a gap of 10 years with 0-1 seats and a vote share of 5.37 per cent.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE: Exit polls have shown varying degrees of accuracy in Delhi’s elections since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) emerged in 2013. In 2013, while they correctly predicted a hung Assembly, they significantly underestimated AAP’s strength.

In 2015 and 2020, exit polls anticipated AAP victories but failed to gauge the extent of their success, consistently underestimating their seat counts. 

For instance, in 2015, polls averaged 45 seats for AAP, while the actual count was 67. 

However, by 2020, predictions improved, with polls closely aligning with AAP’s eventual 62-seat win, indicating a gradual enhancement in polling accuracy over the years.
